NEVER NEED ANOTHER HAMMOCK....EVER
I am an avid hiker and mountain climber. so i know a good product when i see one.and for the price it CANNOT be beat.trust me any other product that is sewn and assembled with the quality these are cost easily twice as much.and now they went and added a bug net! SOLD! i am 6'4" and laying in one is nice and roomy. and getting it back in it's sack is a breeze(unlike a VERY popular name brand) i would like to thank the folks at TRD for making this hiker a happy man! and it goes without saying the customer service is like dealing with an old friend. great pruduct ! can't wait for more products from them .

Received this hammock last weekend and really like the quality of materials and manufacture. Solid and will last for several decades of constant use. Appreciate the screen as well to keep the insects away!

This double hammock from Twisted Root Design is wonderful. I upgraded from a Ohuhu single hammock and this one is huge in comparison! I had to move my hammock straps as it is longer as well. I'll try to add the exact dimensions later as they aren't on the product list. It is definitely wide enough for two adults to use together. So much so that when one is using it alone you can wrap the sides around and completely cover yourself. I haven't had a chance to sleep in it yet but I'm looking forward to the extra size so I can sleep on more of a diagonal to keep myself flat.
The D shaped aluminum carabiners that come with the hammock have a wire gate which provides large enough clearance to clip to tree straps, other carabiners, or anything else. They are pretty similar in size to regular climbing carabiners. Much better than what came with my Ohuhu single hammock. Those ones were so small that I had to open my locking carabiners on my setup and clip them through the carabiners on the hammock. They couldn't even clear another carabiner.
The nautical ropes that are tied at the ends are great and feel like a better quality than the ones on my Ohuhu. They came with only an overhand knot tied at the end. I quickly replaced it with a figure eight knot to keep the ends together, but that is just my preference.
I love the bright vibrant colors and hope that they last, although I won't leave the hammock hanging up when I'm not using it so I'm sure it will be fine.
I did struggle with getting the hammock back in the attached storage bag. It was rolled pretty tight when it came but that may just take more practice on my part.
